The Heritage Bar & Grill of El Dorado will play host to the Strange Daze CD Release Party for Homer, LA based band, deaconBlack! With a retro-style that hearkens back to the days of power rock, this band will certainly satisfy those who love straight at you, in your face rock and roll. With a solid reputation in the ark-la-tx already as a three-piece, I'm sure their current configuration as a five piece will be even more exciting! Tired of hearing the same old rehashed & re-canned music? Then, the original music of deaconBlack may be just what the doctor ordered for you!

deaconBlack did a hellacious job out at The Heritage Bar & Grill last night.
I really like the new configuration...the two added members really round out the total sound of the group. The sound & lights were great, and the vocals were tight. Hard-driving bass line, thunderous drums, scorching leads on guitar...I really love the retro-power rock sound of this band, & the guys appeared to be having a lot of fun onstage. Great job, fellas!
I hope we'll be seeing alot more of deaconBlack around this area, this band deserves to be showcased.
