STONING CAIN enters studio, 4/22!

The guys from STONING CAIN have been hard at work nailing down some original music for their demo CD which they'll be recording this Sunday, 4/22 in Pine Bluff, AR.

Drawing from varied & differing influences, this band refuses to be locked into one-dimensional music. One genre is not enough!

A product of the live music scene here in El Dorado... these four young men have been privileged to see, hear, & learn from some of the best of the area musicians, as well as...the fine touring bands who have performed in this town.

There'll be several opportunities in the very near future to see these guys, so keep your eyes peeled, and most especially be sure & catch them at the 2007 Crawfish Boil & Battle of the Bands on May 5th in downtown El Dorado!

STONING CAIN is own it's way!

Big Red & The Soulbenders Blues It Up @ Einstein's!

Friday night, 4/13 was a thrilling night of live music @ Einstein's in El Dorado, AR!

Big Red & The Soulbenders, of Mt.Home, AR blew the doors off the place with one of their best shows in South Arkansas yet!

Roadhouse rockin' blues was the fare for the night as this 6-pc act put on a big-time show ! No stranger to this area, Kelley "Big Red" Taylor always seems to take it up a notch when she plays El Dorado.

Joining the Soulbenders for the night was replacement drummer Mike Talley of El Dorado. Mike was very impressive on the kit... especially when you consider the fact that he's never played with them before! Kelley "Big Red" Taylor remarked that it seemed as if he had been with them for years.

New addition to the Soulbenders, John Baxter of Depot Records, made his south Arkansas debut as well. Taking on triple duties as sound engineer, keyboard player, and second guitarist...John really rounded out the overall sound.

According to her custom... Big Red invited local guitarist, Kelsey Camp of STONING CAIN on stage for several numbers. The 17 year-old demonstrated
poise & skill way beyond his 17 years! Making use of vibrato, and bending the strings with impressive control...this young man fit right in with the band. A product of the El Dorado live music scene, this up & coming musician is making great progress.

All in all, a fantastic night... and one of my favorite acts in the Ark-La-Tx!
If you ever have the opportunity, then by all means, check out this act...you'll be glad you did!
